Having spent an extensive career leading HR for dynamic and growing companies in sectors like technology and finance, I saw a recurring challenge. Business leaders were passionate about their people but often frustrated by rigid, one-size-fits-all HR policies that slowed them down instead of enabling their growth. They needed more than a rulebook; they needed a partner who understood their business goals.

That's precisely why I created GIIC. Our approach is to go "Beyond the HR Playbook" by combining deep expertise with practical, business-first thinking. The name itself is a nod to my own name and a passion for the 'geeky' details—we obsess over the complexities of compliance, strategy, and employee engagement so you get solutions that are deceptively simple and highly effective.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience, my passion as a strategic HR leader is simplifying the complexities of people management. My career at dynamic global companies—including roles as Chief People Officer and senior leadership positions at Farfetch and Groupon — has focused on going "Beyond the HR Playbook." I specialize in building HR functions from the ground up, scaling teams through rapid growth, and guiding organizations through critical transformations. Leveraging a diverse global perspective and high emotional intelligence, I turn complex challenges into simple, workable solutions. Through GIIC HR Advisory, I channel this experience into three core areas: conducting in-depth Organizational Diagnostics, designing practical solutions for any HRM challenge, and training the next generation of high-performing People Partners.
